For the past 2 day i’ve had a yellow vaginal discharge, its been a week or so after my last period, and I am taking birth control. other sites i’ve checked all involve something about pregnancy but that is not the option because I haven’t missed a pill in the past 3 months that i’ve been taking it. It has no odor and isn’t clumpy and I have no redness or itching, just yellow mucus. What could it be?

  1. go see the doc,you may have a mild infection, and take a pregnancy test just to be on the safe side, because if you are pregnant you need to find out early so you can stop all bad habbits you might have and start eating healthy

  2. it is perfectly normal. i get it too. to me, it started off clear, than whitish, then yellowy, and it’s perfectly normal and dose not mean you are pregnant because i am 11 and obviously did not have sex yet.

  3. Your normal white/clear discharge will turn yellow or dry yellow when exposed to air. However, if it is coming out yellow it could be a bacterial infection. The vagina is self-cleaning so it could be your body is trying to get rid of something.

A watery, yellowish or greenish bubbly discharge
    An unpleasant odor

    Most apparent after your period
