your pregnant.
Chris, I want you to call your gynecologist’s (or regular doctor’s) office tomorrow and talk to the nurse.
Bright red blood is new blood and nothing to worry about, but brown blood is old blood and should be addressed ASAP. Since you have no pain, it’s probably nothing, but if it something, you’ll be glad you caught it as early as possible.
Chris, I’m not an alarmist, and I rarely tell people to see the doctor ASAP. I know what I’m talking about, OK? It’s better to be safe…….:)
sometimes brown discharge comes out and it’s old blood (depending on what birth control your’e on) when i took the depo that sort of thing happened to me pretty often, depends on what birth control you take.
It might be anything from hormonal imbalance to an ovarian cyst. Or maybe you’re just having a shorter period due to age or stress. So don’t worry if you’re a stressed teen and wait to see if the same thing happens next month. If it does, ask your doctor.
"your pregnant" is quite an irrational statement!! there is not enough evidence to say you’r pregnant…and since you didn’t supply us with any suspicion that you may be pregnant, that factor is out
Brown discharge between periods might be spot bleeding,
since it’s brown, it’s probably slow at fully discharging, resulting in being brown, discharged blood is usually red at first, but after a while it turns brown.
if it’s not the shade of brown that looks like it was blood it can still be normal discharge.
Many things can be affecting your discharge and period patterns. Birth control pills, stress, eating habits, sleep patterns, extreme excercising, and even how much water you drink can all be factors.
Nothing seems to be the problem, it’s perfectly normal to have brown discharge occasionally, it’s your body’s way of getting rid of blood, bacteria, and other things in that area, as long as there are no alarming smells or pain, but a visit to your gynecologist might bring peace of mind.
