    normal. dont worry. chill.

  2. ?Hollister_chick? says:

you probably had it there for a while and than it’s just cleaning out you’r vagina or letting you know your period is on it’s way or that more eggs are developing inside of you. Don’t worry it’s normal. Unless it smells bad and it’s greenish and clumpy than it’s a yiest infection and I would go see a doctor. Good Luck!:)

  3. rawrrr says:

    out of your nose?

  4. ComeFlyWithMehh says:

This is normally what adolescents get (teenagers) it happens mainly during puberty, do not worry it is totally normal darling. Every girl has it, i do. I try not to think about it, it might get smelly too sometimes so make sure you shower a couple of times a week, down there.

    discharge

  5. kbw205 says:

This is totally normal. As a female is stimulated she will self lubricate. normal vaginal discharge helps to clean the vagina, as well as keep it lubricated and free from infection and other germs. A normal vaginal discharge does not have a foul odor and usually has no odor at all. Normal vaginal discharge often appears clear or milky when it dries on your clothing.
If there was an infection there would be a noticable odor and a different color to it. Below is a link that will help clear this up in more detail.

White vaginal discharge!!!?

Ive been having white vaginal discharge for about a week now..I know everyone gets a little but I get it non stop now and it’s more than usual. I have had these symptoms before but they wnt away for a while Sometimes it’s a chunk but it Is mostly milky. It’s itchy sometimes but it also burns at the same time…I’m scared to tell my mom because I do have sex…I haven’t since this has happened (with the same guy everytime) but idk why this keeps coming..my mom has had yeast infections…so maybe that could be it?? Some one please help! Thank you.

  1. Anon says:

You shouldn’t be afraid to tell your mom. But even if you are, you should still tell her. I think it probably is a yeast infection, but I’m not a doctor. You should get it checked out at the gynecologists. You can tell the doctor you have had sex because they aren’t legally allowed to tell your parents.

  2. RNcalledEd says:

    Hi Ash,

It sure sounds like a yeast infection. EVERY woman has yeast in her vagina, and plenty of virgins have had them for a number of reasons, so go ahead and tell your mom the symptoms. If you don’t want to admit that you have had sex, you can now officially tell your mom that a nurse told you it can happen to any girl (sometimes even before they have their periods!)… It’s a matter of your immune system letting it’s guard down and the yeasties taking the opportunity to strike.

The first time you get a yeast infection, you should be seen by an ob/gyn doc just to be sure that is what it really is. After this, you can use OTC med inserts and creams to cure them.

Having said that about virgins getting yeast infections… It is quite likely that your BF had something to do with it, or at least the sex did… Remember that anything you let into your vagina needs to be REALLY clean, non-porous, and have no sharp ridges or edges… If the sex was "energetic" that might have caused some micro-tears in the vaginal wall, and that can cause it as well… My wife gets them about 4 or 5 times a year, despite all the care we take, so it can also be totally unrelated to sex as well…

Next time, take a really long soapy shower together first…
    :-)
Remember to always play SAFE… There are NO safe days!
    Best wishes,
    Ed, RN

White Vaginal discharge…?

Ok so this is super embarrassing and of course didn’t want to resort to asking on yahoo answers but im concerned. Every day i have white vaginal discharge.. and some days its more than others. I will all of a sudden feel wet and have to go to the bathroom. It has an odor but not a bad odor and it doesnt itch or burn or anything. Yes i am sexually active and am on birth control (not this month however because i got too behind) and have a boyfriend of over a year so no im not sleeping around. I was diagnosed with chlamydia over a year ago from a previous partner (ugh!) and was treated and everything and tested again and it was negative and gone. Is there any way it could have randomly come back or is this discharge normal? I have had the discharge for a while. (for as long as i can remember even b4 the STD). Im sry this is so long I just kinda want an answer.. :-/ Do some people just had more than others?

and it wont go away for like the rest of your life. its part of being a woman. if you are not itchy, burning, or sore down there, then its nothing to worry about. every woman has discharge. its just part of starting hormonal changes.

  2. brbgurl08 says:

ya its part of growing up and puberty..so you could be starting your period soon..i started when i was 11. But ya, its totally normal and it will continue..its like cleaning on your body of germs n what not

  3. matkaantytto says:

This is normal and will be with you forever. The creamy stuff comes when you are ovulating (when an egg is released from the ovaries to be fertilized to make a baby). The creamy stuff helps the sperm travel more quickly to the egg.

I'm not sure why you are having this before your period has started. If you are 100 lbs or over this *could* mean your period is coming soon.

are you itchy? you may have a yeast infection.. depending on how much you are discharging.. yes this is normal.. you may want to call your gyno and see what they think.. don;t be nervous its allll normal

Sounds like a yeast infection. Try vagisil.

  5. dancelikewhaaaat says:

Yes, this is normal. I know what you're talking about, and I occasionally get it too. It has nothing to do with sex, so don't worry.

  6. Snuggle Bunny says:

Sounds like "yeast infection". Does it burn or itch. Sounds like your in the beginning stages, might want to go buy some "monistat cream" over the counter. U can get it at Walmart, etc.

U dont need to go to doctor for yeast infection.
    Good luck.

  7. sexy-star says:

Yes it is normal, its like an orgasmic discharge.

  8. sammyantha says:

our vagina's natural discharge a white mucus when we ovulate every month and this is usually odorless. If the discharge is itchy and irritating then it is probably a infection known as thrush

  9. amberlyn_19 says:

    Yes, it's normal =).

Your vaginal walls and uterine cervix contain glands that produce fluid to help keep the vagina clean. It's very normal for it to be white, thick (especially during ovulation, times during the menstrual cycle & sexual arousal) and odorless.

You only need to worry if there's a significant increase in the amount, an odor, pain, itching or burning and if it turns yellowish. These are signs of infection, and in some cases a more serious problem. If that happens, go to the doctor.

    Otherwise, you're fine!

  10. Meeto says:

    Probably an infection.

    pink

  3. llselva4 says:

    sticky and clear

  4. Karen M says:

    white…don't worry, you're ovulating.

  5. Ball and Chain says:

Usually it is clear, when you get it right before your period.

  6. ctsanders5 says:

some times it is a little bit of both

  7. Carlis Game says:

CLEAR WHITISH. YOUR GONNA GET YOUR PERIOUD. LIKE DRIED MILK… YOUR FINE.

  8. marcus says:

u should really ask someone privately about this…freakin makes me sick

  9. x_ciao_bella says:

it could go from clear to white to pink. don't worry if your due for your period soon i think your fine.

  10. toxic21 says:

before your period usually it is white and perhaps slightly thicker

  11. the_silverfoxx says:

it.s normal in women at that time. my honest opion?

  12. Shannon says:

usually clear and dries kind of white

  13. xxtainted_lovexx says:

mine gets like pink. its all normal tho.

  14. Dana C says:

Clear, in the middle of your cycle, creamier at the end.

Any strong smell see your Dr.

  15. cooldude says:

It can be either / or. Dont worry. You are fine.

  16. happylady216 says:

White usually. The clear is mid cycle when you are fertile( ovulating), it is high in sugar to feed the sperm. This is usually around14 days before the period

  17. smile2cute says:

clear in teh middle of your cycle cramy or white at the end then it will go to a rust or pinkish color then you will get you period. if you are itchy though or it is yellowish or greenish or had a foul odor i would talk to your GYNO or family doctor, that could be an infection. Good luck and ignore people who have made rude comments about this they didnt have to read the rest of the question and its good that you arnt embaressed to ask thigns like this it is very mature. most men grow up and this stuff doesnt bother them, my husband even buys my femine produscts for me, he's even bought me stuff for a yeast infection. real men dont care about stuff liek this.
to the rude guy: its a fact of life get over yourself.

  18. henry says:

“Unusual mucus or other substances coming from the vagina is a common problem. The discharge is often due to infection, and frequently associated with pain, burning, itching, and painful urination. Not all infections are sexually transmitted, so don't assume that vaginal discharge means that you have an STD. There are a number of possible causes:
Thick, white, cottage cheese-like discharge, itching, irritated skin yeast infection, or candidacies. Women with diabetes and those taking antibiotics are more likely to develop this type of infection. Most women will have at least one yeast infection at some point in their lives”

Please see your doctor for consultation.

Did this happen straight after unprotected intercourse?

    Might explain a few things…

Could it be some kind of STD's?

  4. Brutally Honest says:

    Ummmm… how about VAGINAL DISCHARGE??

If you had bothered to search other yahoo answers questions regarding this VERY SAME topic, you wouldn't be wasting peoples' time.

Women of child-bearing age (i.e., after the age of 10 and before the age of about 65) have discharge. It is there to cleanse the vagina and prepare it for sexual intercourse.

If you know for sure that it's not supposed to itch or burn or smell funny or have an odd color then chances are also good that you knew that it was nothing to be concerned with.

  5. terry p says:

probably normal vaginal discharge (natural lubrication).

If you're worried, there is a over-the-counter test available to test for STD's.

  6. nurse ratchet says:

Ohh, get to the Gyn. It could be a yeast infection, gonorrhea, clamydia, bacterial, trichominosis. Just go to the doctor, that is abnormal.

  7. karishma p says:

its perfectly fine. thats what happens to people before they go through puberty or before they get their period. its normal. your okay. dont worry its perfectly fine.

  8. LG says:

Funny how your first two answers are from boys/men…lol!!! If I were you I'd go to the gyn. Could be anything…could be nothing.

  9. qtbabi069 says:

If your just hitting puberty then its just called "discharge" And every girl gets it when they hit puberty..If your older and your not talking about the normal discharge all girls/women get then you should probally see a doctor, you didnt state your age though so we would have a better idea if we knew how old you were. But it sounds like its just normal discharge to me..You'll be fine!

  10. catherine s says:

It's probably the beginning to a yeast infection. You can go to the doctor for an exam or try the meds sold in stores for yeast infections. I had a lot of these when I was younger, so have a lot of experience with them. I've experience this same thing and use the meds and it went away. Or you can use a vinegar and water douche, that usually helps me a lot. Good luck, hope I could help!

  11. HoneyBuni says:

Many times when women have a discharge it can be from ovulation. It can also be the result of infections that are curable and common.

  12. Natasha R says:

This is very common, sometimes your vaginal discharge can become more of a milky color closer to your period, or right after. Sometimes that is just the norm for an individual, and it always looks like that. You only need to worry about discharge when it is another color besides white/clear, and it has an odor, or there is itch and discomfort involved.

Besides that, it is just different secretions from your hormones/vagina and is very common, nothing to worry about. Happens a lot.

  4. gynodoc says:

with curd like discharge it is yeast, treat with over the counter med from local pharmacy, reduce sugar and bread intake, eat plain yogurt with live active lactobacillus culters, if diabetes runs in family get checked and wear only cotton crouched panties allow vagina to breath (no tight jeans) and keep it dry as possible!

  5. Tennislover says:

It's normal. There are different discharges for different stages of a woman's cycle. You can read up more on the site below:

  6. ?Lï§å&Äñ†wöñ? says:

Normal Vaginal Fluid is usually clear or milky white and does not have an unpleasant odor. The normal vaginal discharge is thicker at specific times of the menstrual cycle (at the time of ovulation), during breastfeeding, or during sexual arousal. An increase in the amount of vaginal discharge, an abnormal odor or consistency of the fluid, or pain, itching, or burning that accompanies vaginal discharge can all be signs of infection or other more serious disorders.

  1. Nicole says:

Depends on what kind of EC pills she took. If she took a combination estrogen/progesterone pill, or a larger dose of combination birth control pills, there's a 75% chance that it prevented any pregnancy. If she took Plan B (that's two pills – you can take them at the same time or one 12 hours after the other), then there's an 89% chance she's not pregnant. These numbers, however, are based on actual unprotected intercourse, which it doesn't sound like you did. A finger with some sperm on it touching the outside of her privates is not a terribly high risk activity – although as you seem to know there still is some small risk. A finger with a lot of semen on it inserted into her vagina is indeed riskier, but not as risky as actual intercourse. So her personal risk depends a lot on what actually happened.

A white or clear discharge in the week before ovulation is normal – that's probably not connected to the EC or to a possible pregnancy (except that it might indicate she was fertile that day, unfortunately). She probably hasn't noticed her regular monthly white discharge before; it's something most of us are clueless about until someone clues us in about it. Now that she's scared, she's noticing.

Only thing to do is wait until the day after her period is due and take a home pregnancy test. Don't panic though, your chances are pretty good that she's not pregnant.

  2. TinaB says:

She's a virgin, then I don't think it's possible for her to be pregnant. The discharge is normal. I've never heard of a virgin becoming pregnant. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Vaginal discharge is normal, it cleanses and moisturizes that area. Thick, white is normal, but if there's itching it could indicate yeast infection.

Anyother color or odor is bad and should be checked out.
