Red/Brown vaginal Discharge?

Ok I am 19 years old and I am still a virgin.
Two days ago me and one of my guy friends were being a little bit more than "friendly" He wanted to come over and he was going to finger me.
So after that I felt really turned on and I loved it.
So today I get this reddish brown discharge…does anyone know what's wrong with me?

I am on birth control

    Since birth control can still make you have your period, just not as bad, that could've been it?
