Question about Bacterial Vaginitis (BV) and discharge?

When you have BV with a lot of discharge and are on antibiotics, will the discharge disappear right away, or does it take a few days? I’ve been on some antibiotics for about 4 days now (will be on for 10 days total). The first two days it seemed to help since I had less discharge, but these last two days I have had a lot of discharge. Does the discharge have to come out entirely before it goes away? Or does this mean it’s not working because I shouldn’t have any?

Thank you in advance for any info! This is kind of driving me crazy.
