Discharge is very normal, but since you say 'excessive' I do think it may not be to normal. First off, don't panic. If you are pregnant you would not expierence any symptoms 36 hours after sex it would take at least 2-3weeks! Excessive discharge could be from a STD/STI which would be more serious. Or simply a yeast infection, which can be treated with anti-biotics. The best thing to do is go to the doctor, if it is a yeast infection they will give you some anti-biotics and it will go away.
