Well, just a guess here but, discharge is the way your vagina cleanses itself so maybe it’s just cleaning everything out.

Do you use condoms? i find the semen sometimes leaks out a lot the next day.

it shouldnt be excessive, but if he finished off inside you, then it is normal to have discharge the day after sex

If you are close to your period, then excessive discharge is normal! Discharge is very normal, but since you say ‘excessive’ I do think it may not be to normal.

First off, don’t panic. If you are pregnant you would not expierence any symptoms 36 hours after sex it would take at least 2-3weeks!

Excessive discharge could be from a STD/STI which would be more serious. Or simply a yeast infection, which can be treated with anti-biotics. The best thing to do is go to the doctor, if it is a yeast infection they will give you some anti-biotics and it will go away. If the discharge is a cloudy white with a slight yeast ‘bready’ smell I would say it is a yeast infection.

    Hope all goes well.
