insert IUD with vaginal discharge?

ive had an appointment scheduled for several months to get my iud inserted. my appointment is tomorrow but ive developed some sort of vaginal infection over the last couple of days. Does anyone know if a doctor will put in a IUD while there is something going on down there and take care of both things that day? Or would she treat the infection and have to reschedule for the IUD?

    No, they will more than likely give you some meds to cure your infection first and then tell you to come back in a few weeks to perform the procedure
