I have bacterial vaginosis (help?)?

For as long as I knew I always had a fishy odor ‘down there’ and I’ve never really thought about doing anything about it until I looked up on the internet about it.
I’m 13, but I’ve had it since my period showed up; or, a little while after that (which is about 11?)
I am not sexually active with someone, but I have tried masturbating.
(The odor has showed up before I have done that though)

What’s the best thing to do?
Help? ^^;

    If you have an on-going odor and especially if you have a discharge with it, you should see the doctor. If it’s an infection, it should be treated.

    And, no, masturbation doesn’t cause infections unless you’re using something dirty to masturbate with.

    bv is not an std and affects one out of every three women during their fertile years.
    It can occur in women who are not sexually active also.

    From your description this problem can be bacterial vaginosis or yeast infection. Both of these have similar symptoms.Yeast infection is caused by candida fungus and bacterial vaginosis is caused by bad bacteria overgrowth in the vagina. Visit a doctor to confirm BV. Let me tell you BV is easy to cure so don’t worry.Your vaginal odor can be easily corrected.
