I have Bacterial vaginosis and it wont go away! what to do?

I’ve been with the same guy for about 8 months now. I just recently about two months ago started smelling down there and having unusual discharge so i went to the gyno and she gave me a pill antibiotic to take for five days. I did as i was told but it just came back. she gave me one refill so i used it and the same thing happened. so i called her back and had to go back to the gyno. she then prescribed me with another medication the vaginal ovules that u insert for three days. I did this and what happened? it just came right back. she also gave me another refill so i did it again and it failed AGAIN! at this point i was very frustrated and my boyfriend was aswell. I called her again but i didnt want to keep paying to come in to the doctors so she said try the ovules one more time and on the third night leave it on for an hour then have intercourse and have your partner leave it on for an hour. we did this and it still came back!!! I don’t know what to do this is extremly frustrating and makes me very self conscious. I just want it to go away and so does my boyfriend.

well it is probably your boyfriend that keeps on transmitting to you the infection.

It may be a different bacterial strain each time.

Tell your idiot boyfriend to go to the doctor.

Do you really want to be with a twit that cannot clean himself or take responsibility for his own health.

Can perfectly understand the situation you are in.

For me antibiotics did not give me any relief. Wat did was a natural cure which you can look up by visiting http://www.my-bvcures.info

    Hey Lauren,

I’m sorry to hear that you are having such a hard time with BV.

If you did follow your treatments exactly as you were supposed to and still have found no relief, then it’s probably time to take a long-term approach to your BV.

The best thing you could do right now is to remove as much stress from your life as possible. The more your body is stressed, the more opportunity BV has to remain and worsen.

Do your best to get a full night’s rest every night. Cut out soda, caffeine, sugar, alcohol, and all other unhealthy aspects of your diet.

What about the clothing you’ve been wearing? If you wear tight synthetic materials as underwear or pants, you may be making your BV worse. Choose cotton to allow airflow so that the vagina stays as dry as you can possibly keep it.

By taking a long-term approach, full of healthy eating, exercise, and restful sleep, your body will be able to heal itself. This is something you really have to work at, though.

I used to suffer a great deal myself. For many years, actually. By making these changes and others, my life is so much better.

And remember, never stop learning about how to prevent and treat BV. In doing so, you can add or drop tactics to help you stay healthy.
