okay this is a bit nasty but I have been suffering some unusual yellow vaginal discharge since December, it isn’t offensive in smell but it isn’t normal for me.

I’ve had 3 STI tests, including tests for thrush and BV and my partner has been tested as well, everything came back negatove but the gave me 2 weeks doxy and 1 week metronidazole as a precaution. This was all in January and my symptoms haven’t cleared up despite taking the medication correctly.

What the hell else could it be?! any natural remedies which will help this as obviously it isn’t very nice.

The first two days it seemed to help since I had less discharge, but these last two days I have had a lot of discharge. Does the discharge have to come out entirely before it goes away? Or does this mean it’s not working because I shouldn’t have any?

I can barely stand because the pressure makes it so much worse!! I’m so upset because I’m pregnant and don’t want to be taking all of these meds!!! For the past year I’ve been dealing with some kind of infection. Constant discharge, occasional pain. They keep telling me it is BV but the culture does not grow anything out. No yeast, no fungi, no bacteria, no aerobic or anaerobic bacteria. I just have lots of white blood cells and a few ‘clue cells.’ I’ve been on about 15 medications, including a 2 month round of steroids (they thought it was auto-immune, but those only made it worse). Had 2 cyrosurgeries because I was also told it was ‘cervicitis’ and the procedures would help–they didn’t. I am negative for all STDs as well. I’ve seen a ton of doctors and everything comes back normal. However, this is NOT normal. This started after a UTI a year ago (coincidence maybe) and will not go away!

Are all of these doctors (or am I) missing something? :( please help!

Everytime I go in and ask about it he said he’s not concerned with that right now. I’ve called other doctors and asked them what they thought and they always gave me the same answer. " they dont know my history and my dr knows what he’s doing" I don’t have the insurance to just go out and get a new dr. I’ve done some research and I haven’t found any information saying that it could hurt the baby but it was just mainly annpoying and a bother.. I have tried a lot. I’ve inserted regular (unsweetened) yogurt up there, I tried eating unsweetened yogurt but that didn’t seem to help at all either, unless I ate a HUGE mass of it and I can’t do that everyday, it makes me sick.. I went (early) to a doctor that practices a broad spectrum of everything (physicals, nose bleeds, etc…) just to do a broad check up.

I was told that I have BV. She didn’t seem incredibly worried about it, but she’s not a specialist in this field. I went online, as read that it DOUBLES the chances of miscarriage in the first and second trimester.

Has anyone had this before? I also read that treating it in this stage won’t affect the outcome. I don’t really have any symptons of this, as I didn’t even know to ask about it. Will that fact help my baby’s chances?

Should I be freaked by the internet hype or is this not a big deal?
