dark brown vaginal discharge?
Hi, I’m eighteen and I’ve been having a dark brown discharge and it flows as if it is my period. I had my period about two weeks ago and I haven’t had sex in over three months. Any ideas as to what this could be? It doesn’t cause me any pain or cramps of any sort, just very uncomfortable.

im thirteen and havent had my period yet… usually i have white discharge but this time it is dark brown and kinda crusty… should i be worried???
also, no unusual smell in that area.

if i were you i would talk to my mom, if you're comfortable with that kind of stuff. but i don't think you have anything to worry, esp if you aren't sexually active. it may also just be a sign that you're getting your period soon.

it could just be left over period blood. that happened to me when i got on birth control. or you could have an std

Usually ovulation bleeding is brown and in the middle of your cycle? Do you have a regular cycle, if so its probably about time for you to ovulate

This has happened to me before, usually right before or right after the period. It is NOT an STD, it’s merely old blood (the brown color is the the color the blood turns after oxidation). Sometimes it’s accompanied by a Yeast Infection (not fun) and that’s easily remedied with some Monistat.
If you’re really concerned about it you can call your doctor, but usually it goes away within a day or two.

it means that your period is almost done , it happends to every girl , when you get your regular period , it will go away around 5-6 days .
