Can Omega3 Fish Oil supplements cause vaginal odor?

I recently purchased some Omega 3 Fish Oil capsules on the recommendation of my stylist for hair health. After doing some research online, however, I have seen that many people complain of it creating a fishy smell in the vagina. Anyone on here taken Omega 3s for hair and experienced this problem? Thanks in advance!

Omega 3 fish oil supplements may cause fishy body odors in high dosages. Lower your dosage and that should solve your problem.

Yes it’s possible. This can happen with MANY supplements though, even multi vitamins. However, any odor you might develop won’t be permentent. SOmetimes it takes the body a while to adjsut to the supplement. SO after several weeks. the odor should go away.

If you’re taking a high dosage, that might cause odor too. Some simple tricks you can use to help neutralize odor is drinking LOTS of water. This will help dilute your natural discharge. Also, eating lots of fruit will help neutralize the smell.

yes fish oil can do this, also makes your sweat smell fishy. Try taking Biotin instead. No smell and great for hair skin and nails.
