  1. keepin it real says:

no, it won't turn into any other disease.

you can get bacterial vaginosis without having sex.

if you have chlamydia and you haven't been with anyone else, you most likely got it from your boyfriend. just because he said he used protection doesn't mean that he is telling the truth….

As far as I know BV is an infection fungal in nature Chlamydia is a sexually transmitted disease, they are two completely different things so maybe the boyfriend isn’t being totally honest with you.

  3. zeldaslexicon says:

No, BV cannot turn into chlamydia. If you have chlamydia and have had only one partner, then it’s fairly simple to figure out “where it came from”. Sorry to doubt your boyfriend, but if he gave you chlamydia, he clearly didn’t use protection all the time.

Chlamydia is a sexually transmitted disease that often has NO symptoms. Your partner may have had it for some time and not been aware of it.

BOTH of you must be treated. And avoid having sex (even protected sex) until you are BOTH done with your treatment. Otherwise, you will simply continue to pass the infection back and forth to each other.

  4. question asker says:

NO — one condition can’t turn into another condition.
